Cutiedag 18 juni 2011 Vouwkaart

Afgelopen zaterdag 18 juni was de Cutiedag die Agnes en ik altijd samen organiseren, we doen dit twee keer per jaar in mei/juni en in oktober. Ook dit keer was het weer druk bezocht en erg gezellig. Hieronder zie je wat we dit keer als groot project hebben gemaakt. Verder hebben we ook nog twee tasjes gemaakt die leuk zijn om een kadootje in weg te geven. Aan het eind konden we iedereen een leuke goodiebag meegeven, dit keer gesponsord door Cute Stamps and Cards, Stempelstudio Karin de Graaff en Scrapbookatelier.

Sneak peak Cutiedag 12 juni

Vandaag een sneakpeak van wat we zaterdag 12 juni gaan maken op onze cutiedag. Wat is de cutiedag? Agnes en ik zijn beheersters van een Yahoo groep de Cuties en wij organiseren 2x per jaar een gezellige dag waar we kaarten/boekje/doosje......maken, gezellig bij kletsen en lekker lunchen met elkaar. Het is begonnen met de leden van De Cuties maar dat is allang niet meer zo iedereen die het leuk vind om te knutselen mag komen. En ze komen uit heel nederland. Dit jaar hebben we er voor gekozen om één project te maken waarvan dan ook de sneakpeak is te zien.
We beginnen om 10.00 uur en eindigen om 16.00 uur.

Jullie krijgen een heel compleet pakket met papier,embelishments.....alleen je basis materiaal neem jezelf mee zoals dubbelzijdig tape, schaar, mat enz.
En natuurlijk is er koffie, thee, iets lekkers en een lunch.
De hele dag kost 36,50 en we hebben nog 4 plaatsen over. Dus denk je dat lijkt me leuk zo'n dagje en je kunt zaterdag 12 juni geef je dan gauw op. Je kunt mailen naar agnesstampcards@gmail.com , jacquelinevandersar@hotmail.com en naar info@cutestampsandcards.nl.

This week over at Stamp with Fun the theme is hearts. Hearts are always my favorites. I used a new heart die from Joy, first cut it out, than embossed it, than left it in the die and colored with brilliance the square parts. Than take it out of the die and put a ribbon through the little wholes and made a bow in the ribbon. I love this heart die. There is a price to win from digital delights. Easelcard with Whiff of Joy

This one is made with the sketch from the Whiff of Joy challenge blog. It also fits in the challenge of Stampavie and more, there you need to make a easelcard.
The flowers are made with the new Nellie Snellen floral 2 punches, the leave is just a normal punch. But the flower is a set, first you punch the flower, than you put it in the second one and it embos the stripes and makes the flower 3dimensional. Think they are great!! The flower is in two sizes. The oval die is from Nellie Snellen, it cuts out little holes, they are just perfect to put a ribbon through. Monday evening I was stamping with my friends Agnes and Ineke, and Agnes and I both used this die with Ribbon, we liked it so much that we both had to use it :-)

First of all I want to wish you all a very merry and cozy christmas!!

And second let you know that our computer (wich was only 7 months old) had a harddisk crash... So we need to get everything installed again on a other computer, on top of that our photocamera broke, so with a very bad camera and no photoshop, my pictures are very bad, but hope to place new ones very soon!

Card with magic dots and Belles 'n Whistles

This one I made to try out the magic dots. First you pierce a little hole in the paper, than you put a removable gluedot on the end of the tool, and pick up the dot, than you push the dot into the hole. It looks a bit like brads, but they are not so shiny, and a lot cheaper.....

This one I made for somebody in Germany, we do a swap with this form of card. Finally made it to make something again. I really missed it, hope to get some more cards done in the next weeks..... For this set you need very little stuff, just the winebottle bag , you can find them at Cute Stamps and Cards, some paper left overs, a card and some pearls and that is enough. Ofcourse it is fun to make this kind of sets for all kind of occasions..... I was lucky to have the stamps also in a mini stamps so I could put that one on the back, but also a text stamp or flower will do great! I put also pearls on the dotted paper on the winebottle bag, to give that also some sparkle.

My husband had new stuff for his shop Cute Stamps and Cards, like the velvet flock and the liquid applique, so I had to try out both of them. Still dont know which one I like best, think they both are fun to work with!! The stamps is Vivi, also just new in, from The Greeting Farm.

Cutie Dag 4 oktober a.s te Klarenbeek

Hallo allemaal,
Het is inmiddels traditie geworden dat we twee keer per jaar een Cutiedag houden. De eerst volgende wordt gehouden op zondag 4 oktober 2009.Het zal gehouden worden in het zaaltje Hulzebos, Kopermolenweg 15, 7382 BT Klarenbeek.Het zal net als voorgaande keren, een dag zijn om gezellig contacten op te doen en elkaar weer te zien. Inbegrepen zijn drinken en wat lekkers gedurende de dag en een lunch tussen de middag. In de ochtend gaan we de basis maken van twee kaarten met bewegende delen, in de middag heb je de tijd om de kaarten naar je eigen smaak af te werken en is er nog een extra verrassing om te bescrappen. Het kan zo zijn dat je niet de tijd hebt om alles af te krijgen, maar je krijgt alle spullen mee, zodat je het altijd thuis kunt afmaken.Zoals altijd krijg je ruim voldoende materiaal! Je krijgt ook een werkbeschrijving van de kaarten. Belangrijkste is dat het een gezellige dag wordt!!

Verder wordt je verzocht om een naamplaatje op te doen, het is leuk om een ander te herkennen aan zijn naam, en bij de naam aan te kunnen spreken. Om dit leuk te maken, kun je met je naamkaartje een prijs winnen, het thema dit jaar voor het naamkaartje is DIEREN.

Sponsors van deze dag zijn Scrabookatelier uit Klarenbeek, Stemplestudio Karin de Graaff (web), Cute Stamps and Cards (web), Paper and Pictures uit Doorn, Joan Gevaert uit Ede, Do It uit Elst, Stampingcorner (web)en Magnolia (wie weet volgen er nog meer). Zij maken het mogelijk om leuke prijzen weg te geven bij de verloting en een goodiebagje te vullen!!

Verder krijg je de mogelijkheid om op die dag met 10% korting te kopen bij Scrapbookatelier in Klarenbeek (zit vlak bij het zaaltje), bij Stempelstudio Karin de Graaff, zij zal op de dag aanwezig zijn, maar zal maar een gedeelte van haar voorraad meebrengen, minder dan voorgaande keren. This week over at Stamp with Fun there is a aketch from Saphira. This weekend I visit the Stempel Mekka in Germany, and bought some great new stamps, and when I was back I made this card. I had a hard time with the three stripes next to the image, so I turned the sketch, but still found it difficult. I love the papers and the image, but not completly happy with the total of the card...

Mojo Monday with 60' Tilda

Made this one with the sketch from Mojo Monday. Finally gave myself the time to use the new punches!! And they are really great!! You have to use the good size of paper to get a perfect result, but it works great and is easy when you know the sizes.... I used a square from 5 x5 inches, the card is 5,5 x 5,5 inches. The new nestabilities are also beautiful. This is such a great time in the year with al the new stuff coming out :-) All the butterflies and the text are cut out of the design paper. This Tilda is from the fall collection 2009, which will be released very soon, and can be preordered over at Cute Stamps and Cards. Isn't she cute?!
