Friday Sketchers with the new Magnolia Spring Kit

This week over at Friday Sketchers there is a easy sketch from my blogfriend Carole! I just got the new spring kit in, and had to use it. There are so many great stamps in it, cant wait to ink the other ones up!! Used my airbrush also this time for the background, dont know why but with me the colors always get bright! Wanted to try a soft version, but for that I still have to practise a lot.... The butterflies are in 3d, stamped them on the background for the "swirls" (dont know the english word for it) and cut out others ones to put up the wings higher.

Magnolia Happiness be yours

As promissed a new magnolia image, I think the cat is so cute, This is just the way our boys pick up our dogs... I made it with the sketch for Sketch Saturday. I stamped with the little flowers from magnolia on the down side of the light paper, and also the top from the flowers, on the three other sides.

Magnolia DT card 4 scenery

This is another card made with my DT package. I only got the haybale (hope it is a good english word!) from on older collection. I coloured everything with the markers, did some stickels on the flowers in the tree and the earth and sky with glittering chalk. The text is a part of happy easter.

Magnolia DT card 2

This is the second card I made with my DT package. And it is real challenging to use the materials Magnolia sent me, I would never choosen such big flowers myself, or the DP.... But I edged up with Versamagic color Perfect Plumeria, the cream flower, the paperdeges, the cream ribbon, and also stamped the border, the tag, and the text with it. The tag is a scalloped one, but cut of the scallops because I wanted it to be a bit smaller. The little chickens were so fun to color! And the little sheep I did with Puffy Velvet and heat it with the heat gun, think that turned out really well. All stamps (exept the tag) are from the new easter collection.

First DT card Magnolia

This is the first DT card I made for Magnolia!! I am so proud to be in the team. Not only because I love the Magnolia stamps, but also because there are a lot of great Design Team members, who make really great cards!! Already made a lot card with Maganolia images as you all have seen around my blog. This time I needed to use all the stuff Magnolia added to the package, and that was a fun thing to do, and challenging... Hope you will like this one. All stamps are from the easter collection 2009.
